My baby. My sweet, snuggly, adorable baby. I can’t believe that you are a one year old already. Some days I still hold you in my arms and it feels like you were just born. I love your big blue eyes, and how you can smile at the drop of a hat. I love your fuzzy head and those dimply elbows and hands. Your tanned skin. The way you cuddle on me before I put you to bed. Your massive crocodile tears.
At one , you are learning to climb the stairs. I first found you on the fourth step, standing, as excited as can be. Time to get that baby gate up!
You are covered in bumps and bruises because you think you are invincible and you really want to get around and do things like your big sisters.
You are learning how to defend yourself against your sisters- pulling their hair works pretty well.
You are finding your voice- we are finally hearing you talk and make some noise, which, oddly enough, we are very excited about!
You learned how to wave and say ‘duh-dye’ (bye bye)- it’s the cutest thing in the world.
You greet people you are excited to see with the Heil Hitler and a very intense little face.
You finally have some tufts of (super blonde) hair- yay! Maybe one day we’ll be able to do that surfer hairstyle I’ve always loved.
You have the most adorable teeth in the world. I don’t know what it is, but I stare at them and wonder how they made a cute face even cuter!

We are so thankful to our Heavenly Father for this past year of happiness and health and we pray He may continue to bless you, little love.
