I promised I would share some images taken at the Baby as Art workshop I took in the beginning of June and I’m just now finding a spare moment to post them. Carrie Sandoval and Brittany Woodall are the amazing women behind Baby as Art. They recently photographed Pink, her husband and their new daughter. In their studio they have signed photographs they took of Bob Marley’s son Ziggy with his newborn. They are the world’s most renowned newborn photographers and learning and photographing with them was a dream come true for me. During the day we had the opportunity to photograph four gorgeous babies- three boys and one little girl. I had the hardest time narrowing down which images I would show. I love the studio shots, and I wish I lived in California where you can photograph newborns outdoors year round. Carrie has the most amazing old truck on her property just for her clients. I think those are some of my favorites! On to the images…

Finally- the weather is warming up and I am starting to feel like I can safely put all the winter stuff away! I have been looking out my bedroom doors every morning, watching for the first blooms of my magnolia tree, and checking on the little eggs a bird decided to lay in the sill of our door. I can hardly wait until the simple days of bare feet outside, sitting in the sun in the backyard, barbeques… yum!
In the meantime- here’s another What to Wear inspiration guide. While all the guides do show some pretty styling shoes to go along with the outfits, I am always game for bare feet during your session as well. After all, this weather doesn’t last that long- let’s squeeze out every moment we can!
Ahhhh! I have been having so much fun editing Kaia’s pictures all day and I am kind of sad they’re done! What a sweet, gorgeous little girl I wanted to share more of these with you- especially for my Opa and Oma who are out of the country and have not been able to meet her yet- I hope you all enjoy her sweet little face as much as I do. xo
