What To Wear {St Catharines Family Photographer}

Thursday, March 15th, 2012

Spring is arriving! Yesterday I sat outside almost the entire day while my kids played and it was just beautiful! Watching Kingston discover the outside on his own is just adorable. Last year he wasn’t walking yet and this year he just has the freedom to wander and do as he likes. Needless to say- our bathtub was full of dirt after those three were washed up for bed. I think it’s going to be a fun summer for all of us! I’m already planning out our family session for September- I can’t wait! I’ve got the inspiration and I know the photographer is going to do an amazing job- so, so excited!

If you’re planning on a family session this year, please contact me as soon as possible! As previously mentioned, I’m booking up quickly…and I’d love to be able to accommodate everybody. Here’s some lovely spring like wardrobe inspiration. I love Mom’s shoes and necklace and the color combo of navy and fresh corals and greens! I honestly believe a complimentary wardrobe is SO important to your images, and encourage you to look through the previous What to Wears as well. Also, browse magazines and take a look at the advertisements- how are the models dressed? Usually there are a few patterns, a limited color palette, and lots of textures. And with the exception of Tide ads, the model family usually does not wear matching khaki pants and polo shirts… haha

Q.T. | Exploring Life {Niagara Children’s Photographer}

Monday, February 20th, 2012

This little cutie is Quinn. To celebrate her first birthday, her grandma booked a session with me. The first ten minutes went very well…and then, well then she got sick of it all. She didn’t really make much of a fuss, but she certainly didn’t want to flash a smile either! We sang a few rounds of ‘The Wheels On The Bus’ which she enjoyed but in the end, I fell in love with some of the more serious images. It’s not all about the full eye contact and the huge grins, but capturing your childs personality and creating memories. Of course, I’ll share some smiley ones too! Just wanted to say a special thanks to Jen, (you know who you are) a very sweet client who has referred me so many wonderful clients in the past year! xo

Product Showcase | Session Albums {Niagara Newborn Photographer}

Friday, February 10th, 2012

New to Collections this year is the session album. A 20 page, lay flat, custom 10×10 album, this item is perfect for showcasing your favorite images from your session. A simple design allows the images to take center stage. The images are printed using archival quality inks that don’t fade or smudge. The board pages will withstand creases and bends and the matte finish is absolutely stunning! These albums are fine art, museum quality items, hand bound and created to last for generations to come. One of the most beautiful things about them are the gutterless pages- this means that an image can go right across the page without having a cut or deep crease in the middle. The effect is absolutely stunning!
