Sweet baby Aurora is the long awaited daughter of a good friend of mine and I was so excited to have her as the very first newborn my studio! She was so good, although she liked to open her eyes every once in a while in her sleep, just to keep us on our toes! We also got some cute pics with her proud big brother Owen. The images at the end of this post were taken at the very end of our session- clearly Aurora was done with her modeling stint and thought she’d been co-operative long enough! Owen was so sweet and patient- he’s going to make a very good big brother!

This image was ordered as a 10×20, which is a very tall, narrow crop. It works perfectly for this shot! I can’t wait to see it in print! (and for those concerned about newborn safety, please be assured this was done with mom right nearby the baby and edited out of the final image)
