Jet and Max | Exploring Life {Grimsby Child Photographer}

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

Jet and Max are such adorable little boys and so cute together as well. During our session we played, they did some wrestling and showed me their fun little toys and we walked all around Balls Falls looking for some different locations to shoot in. They did very well for their session and we had a lot of fun together! Jet especially was interested in having some fun pictures while Max was not quite as interested (typical for any two year old!). We still got some really cute shots of him though! Their mom Holly did a really nice job of dressing them in layers and textures so they could stay warm in the cooler weather and look like little models at the same time! It was really nice meeting all of you, and I know these prints will look amazing hanging up in your beautiful home!

One of the first shots we took: this one is being printed big for their living room!

Boys Riding Radio Flyer Bike

Holly knew she wanted a little bit of a vintage vibe for their shoot to compliment their home decor. I had some old quilts, crates and other items, including an old Radio Flyer bike from my little brother and fresh red apples. It all tied together perfectly and gave the boys something to do so I could capture some natural moments!

Ryan and Vicki | Life to the Fullest {Grimsby Family Photography}

Monday, November 21st, 2011

This little family was just so much fun to work with! I’m going to be honest and admit- I really didn’t think a one year old could outrun me (especially since my one year old son is not even walking yet!) but Shae could. I was almost completely winded by the end of their session! However, they rewarded my hard work by giving me some new favorite images! Thanks to Vicki for making sure everyone was looking amazing in their stylish and coordinating clothing. I can’t wait to see all your images in print!

What to Wear {Professional Grimsby Photographer}

Friday, November 18th, 2011

Another stylish inspiration board featuring clothing from Gap, Old Navy and Piperlime for a family of 6. I love the purple/plum/wine color that’s popular now, and just bought myself a sweater in this color for the winter! I only have a few family sessions left before the holiday deadline, but I’m sure there will be plenty of inspiration in the archives as well for co-ordinating your wardrobe for your next session! The key is co-ordinating (not matching), textures and layers. The last two really help to add so much interest to your images, as well as give you the option to get warmer or cooler depending on the weather at the time!
