I was excited when this family contacted me for their portrait session, which took place at their beautiful home and the neighbor’s pear orchard. The weather held out for us nicely, and again (I have to mention)- another FABULOUSLY dressed family! I really appreciate when an effort is made to co-ordinate the family’s wardrobe, as it makes such an impact on the portraits. Their session was a lot of fun- the kiddos kept me on my toes and there was a lot of running, playing, swinging and tickles. Mom and Dad were sure I didn’t get any good shots in the hour I was there but in reality, I had so many beautiful shots that it was very hard for me to narrow down their gallery! I love when people are in their natural element, laughing, playing and enjoying their time together as a family.

The kids sit on this bench while waiting for their bus every day so we thought it was a very appropriate spot for a picture of them!

In between throwing pears, balancing them on my head, tickle fights and chasing little boys, we got these beautiful shots.

The family home has this awesome field right behind it- I had to get some shots in the long grass there as well! I think it is so important for Mom and Dad to have some shots of themselves for their children to look at when they are older. I love this particular image of Ben and Rachel!
