A sweet newborn to brighten a grey day {Niagara Newborn Photographer

Monday, April 18th, 2011

Here we are nearing the end of April, and today it is snowing. Ontario has been experiencing some incredibly bizarre weather this year! I thought I’d post some more images from this newborn session to brighten up this blah, grey day. Nathan was an angel to photograph- he slept so well and posed quite nicely. I decided I loved my new navy blanket as a backdrop, and I got to use some lovely hats as well from some fantastic vendors- some of whom I will be featuring on the blog this year, so keep an eye out for those blog posts if you LOVE knit products as much as I do!

What to Wear {Niagara Family Photography}

Friday, April 15th, 2011

Finally- the weather is warming up and I am starting to feel like I can safely put all the winter stuff away! I have been looking out my bedroom doors every morning, watching for the first blooms of my magnolia tree, and checking on the little eggs a bird decided to lay in the sill of our door. I can hardly wait until the simple days of bare feet outside, sitting in the sun in the backyard, barbeques… yum!

In the meantime- here’s another What to Wear inspiration guide. While all the guides do show some pretty styling shoes to go along with the outfits, I am always game for bare feet during your session as well. After all, this weather doesn’t last that long- let’s squeeze out every moment we can!

A Taste of Spring {Ancaster Child Photographer}

Tuesday, April 12th, 2011

Spring has been a long time in coming this year and so I was pretty excited to get outside and photograph a few fun sessions last weekend. The sessions took place at this amazing old abandoned house I happened upon in Ancaster. The weather was perfect, the kids were great, and I got to shoot with two amazing fellow photographers, Emily of Emily Krbec Photography and Melissa of Simply Said Photography. Here is just a taste of some of the beautiful images I was able to capture! I will share more when I get the chance!
