Bree’s Sneak Peek {Vineland Baby Photographer}

Monday, June 21st, 2010

This past weekend was just crazy busy, but in a good way, enjoying time with family in celebration of Father’s Day. It was so gorgeous outside as well, we have been blessed with amazing weather in Ontario this summer. The kids spent some time in the pool and we all spent the majority of our time outside enjoying this respite from the occasional bouts of rain of the past weeks.

However, I promised sweet little Bree’s mother that I would post a sneak peek of Friday’s session today, so here is one for now :)

Are all photographers the same?

Friday, June 18th, 2010

I came across a wonderful article this week, written by the wonderful photographer Andrea Joki. I first saw her work on a public photography forum and she is really great at sharing her knowledge with others as well. If you have ever wondered why custom photographers charge what they do- click HERE. There is another great article on our website under the “Why Custom Photography?” Header- click HERE to be re-directed.
Have a fantastic weekend!

My baby sister {Waterdown Family Photographer}

Monday, June 14th, 2010

Taylor was the baby of our family for 7 years, until my littlest brother came along and bumped her out of her favored position ;) Taylor was always a beautiful little girl, with thick, long brown hair and huge eyes. This month, that same little girl will be graduating from grade 8 and moving onto high-school in September. Normally a very casual girl, she loves sports and usually wears her hair in a ponytail. But this is grad, and so she’s going all out! Before the big day came around, we did a little test run on her hair and makeup, and I got to take her out on a photo shoot. We drove around Waterdown, finding awesome locations and incredible light, and it was so much fun! Editing these images however, was more difficult, as I sat staring at my computer  wondering what happened to my baby sister? I guess she’s all grown up now!

Taylor, I am so proud of you, and the wonderful person you have become. You are gorgeous on the outside, but more importantly, you are incredible on the inside. We love you so much! xoxo

p.s. your shoes are awesome :)
