One of my all time favorite angles of any newborn… their side profile. That same side profile that you see in your ultrasound during pregnancy. Over the next few months you’ll find yourself staring at this image, analyzing it to see who baby might look like, what features he or she will carry on from Mom or Dad. For months on end that grainy black and white ultrasound is the only image you have of your baby-and now here you are, one week after birth, and having every little detail photographed so that this part of her will also never, ever be forgotten. Especially that sweet side profile.
