When Theo and his family joined me in my Niagara, ON studio for his newborn session,  he was still so fresh, sleepy and curly at 9 days new. Watching him as he relaxed into his most comfortable positions really brought back a wave of memories for me of my own babies when they were this small. Why must this time go so quickly? If it were up to me, I’d have a newborn for life! I mean, look at that face! His mom and I were marveling over the idea of each single cell being created within her body, creating his perfect skin, beautiful long lashes, that sweet smirk. What a miracle!

I’m really looking forward to sharing with you all the incredible gallery of images that his parents will be going through soon. Theo slept nearly the entire session and his big sister was such a sweetheart. Their incredible cooperation with me and my camera means there are way too many beautiful images for me to narrow down! And that’s not a bad thing. Here’s just a few I picked out to share for now but the best is yet to come.
